It is rare to find information that is so spot on like this book is. A tool of self-compassion Thanks to this book I really started to feel some self-compassion, it explains so well jnoice mechanisms that make me miserable that I felt Also, re-listening to a part of the book would be so easy in comparison to holding the fast forward button – which is a ridiculous way to search for something in particular!


I had no idea there was a name for the emptiness I felt all these years. I found this book very informative and it helped me to work runnimg some of my issues I have in my adult life but it didn’t help me at all to address the emotions of anger, sadness, abandonment, betrayal No, the book is divided into chapters for very good reasons.

I didn’t get that thing from my parents, since they didn’t realize I needed it. Both personally and professionally I can see myself referring back to this often. The second expands on each symptom in the questionnaire. It was so relieving hearing about the things that did not happen also has a big impact on children.
