The authors’ ideas are basically that we should give ourselves permission to eat whenever and whatever we want, but we need to be conscious about it. But hey – it was a book I read and ill likely read again soon, so I added it. While I think overall, this and “Mindful Eating” are probably the best ways to care for one’s health, this book was hugely repetitive and pretty obvious for anyone who’s spent any amount of time trying to lose weight.

This trlbole a fantastic book that feels like the right answer to helping me heal and repair my relationship with food and a myriad eatnig other things and I know that so many other people have been healed by it as well and I encourage everyone to read it, or at least read the first few chapters and see if any of it speaks to you. That did catch my attention.

I believe that many, many people who struggle or have struggled with food will eafing something of value in this, whether you use parts of their ideas to supplement your relationship to food or commit to their complete process.
